Rochdale BNI are going 'Over The Edge' on Sunday 20th of May in aid of The British Heart Foundation. If you see any of us wearing t-shirts with the BNI logo on them please gives us a boost with a clap and a cheer!

| 27/3/2012 - BNI Rochdale 'Pioneers' welcome a new member |
The Rochdale Chapter of BNI welcomed a new member on tuesday morning.
Steve Giddens of the Utility Warehouse was welcomed by new Chapter Director, Jon Geldard and by new Membership Coordinator, Jim Hilton-Jonesand by the new Secretary Treasurer, Colum Coleman and by a packed meeting room full of successful BNIers and guests.
Phil Ainley, the outgoing Membership Co-Ordinator intoroduced Steve to the chapter and sponsored him for membership. It is Phil's 6th New Member sponsorship which qualifies Phil for a covetted Black Badge of a Gold Member... our second Gold Member in our chapter alongside Mark Coppack.

| 7/6/2011 - BNI Rochdale 'Pioneers' honour renewing member |
We would like to take this opportunity to honour one of our existing memebrs who has renewed his membership with us for the coming 12 months.
Mark Coppack of P&M Coppack Air Conditioning has been a committed BNI Member for 10 years and has always been a pivotal figure within the Rochdale Chapter and has taken most (if not all) of the key roles within the Chapterin his time as a member, so his his opinion and input is always seens as a priceless asset... especially to the newer members of the chapter.
One of the select few of 'Gold Club' Members, for introducing 6 or more new members to the chapter, he is the opitome of what a BNI Memebr should be like. We welcome his renewal as a really positive boost for us all and look forward to working with him for another 12 months.

| Honouring Members' Extra Commitment - 10/5/2011 |
| Today we honoured the efforts of 3 members who have commited a lot of extra effort towards the ongoing developemnt of our Chapter. It was new Chapter Director, Peter Rhodes' first week in the hot seat and he recognised the efforts of outgoing Chapter Director - Phil Ainley and outgoing Secretary Treasurer - Martin Simons, as well as long-standing member Mark Coppack for their efforts towards developing the Chapter and helping the other members. |

| Social Outing - Greek Night at Demetris 25/03/2011 |
BNI is not just about developing business.... it is more about farming and cultivating relationships, so social outings are just as valuable as our breakfast business meeetings.
Most of the Chapter were able to get together on Friday night for a 'Greek Night' at Demetris Cafe and Taverna in Littleborough. Excellent food and entertainment were followed by plate smashing and our host Stuart Demetriades cajoling some of us into making fools of ourselves with Greek Dancing and the wine drinking game!
Some of us saw sense and disappeared home after the meal, but a small handful decided to top up with cocktails at Bar Wizards and no doubt regretted it on Saturday morning! |

| 4/3/2011 - Chapter in transition |
As always with the turning of the new year comes a period of transition, both on a personal level and a business level and BNI is no different to that.
Rochdale BNI, The 'Pioneers' is undergoing some ongoing development which has been in place since near the end of 2010. As with all chapters we have lost some key members since December, but we have taken on some new members to fill the void. We hope our new members can help to complement our existing members' businesses and help us all within the chapter to be more successful and earn more business.
AGP
We have also entered the BNI Accelerated Growth Programme (as of this week). This is a 9week training programme devised by BNI that helps to re-energise chapters and continue the training and education of its members so that they can continue to be successful members.
During this period we welcome visitors to join us as each training session passes on valuable business training tips and expertise that can be of benefit to everyone.
The completion of the AGP will coincide with the Chapter's new Leadership team taking over and it is hoped that it will help to give the new LT a more enthusiastic chapter to build upon.
Business passed between our members continues to be good and the monthly average for business has increased each month since July 2010, making Rochdale BNI the place to become a member if you want your business to be successful in 2011.
